The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.

SASSA will be rendering services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed in regards to the large number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to read more access SASSA services.

“This is often due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The company stage developed for intervention activities a high influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to allow the servicing of all consumers and enhance access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
